WELCOME
At Maywood Tennis Association (MTA), we coach, train and condition our little ones to be the best tennis players they can be. Our tennis professionals are here to assist in the growth and development of our youth athletes.
By investing in the lives of our children, we are literally taking high-risk kids off the streets polluted by gang violence, drugs and sexual promiscuity, and placing them on the tennis courts. Once on court, our kids learn teamwork, develop conflict resolution skills, and even learn to keep score (math aptitude). They also reap the tremendous benefits of exercising outdoors in a safe environment and have fun while doing so.
Our Mission
The mission of Maywood Tennis Association (MTA) is to provide youth in our communities the opportunities to develop life skills through the game of tennis. We firmly believe that every dollar spent on our youth is one less dollar required to address the negative impacts of society. We endeavor to expose our youth to a cadre of positive influences that will prepare them for a better future. This is in keeping with our motto “It’s for the Kids”.
